
The European Union-funded Trade Related Assistance Programme Phase 2 (EU-TRA2) has built the capacity of trade officials to better understand existing trade agreements and helps to build support for the effective implementation of Papua New Guinea’s first ever National Trade Policy (NTP). A recent introductory training was held by the programme with an objective to prepare Papua New Guinea (PNG) government officials to ensure the country becomes more compliant with its obligations to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
