Workshop on Export Guides based on Value Chain Analysis for three products with significant export potential to the EU

The European Union-funded Trade Related Assistance Programme (EU-TRA2) has so far provided policy makers with extensive training and capacity building for manipulation of trade data for research and analysis, but the ultimate use of these skills is to enable the introduction of new products to enter trade between Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the European Union (EU). Accordingly, the EU-TRA2 programme engaged an expert to develop an Export Guide for three products with significant export potential for trade between PNG and the EU: coffee, cocoa and coconut oil. It entailed analysis of the value chain of these products from stakeholders at both domestic and international level.
